Role Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and executing Shuddha Space’s sales strategy across Mumbai and surrounding regions. You will lead, mentor, and drive a team of Sales Executives, helping them build relationships, achieve sales targets, and contribute to the growth of the company.
Your leadership will be crucial in developing new business opportunities, expanding our market share, and maintaining the strong relationships we’ve built with our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
🔑 Sales Strategy & Leadership
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Sales Executives, setting clear targets and ensuring they meet or exceed their goals.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand Shuddha Space’s market presence in Mumbai and beyond.
Monitor performance, provide regular coaching and feedback to the sales team, and implement initiatives to improve team effectiveness.
Ensure alignment between the team’s activities and Shuddha Space’s overall business objectives.
💡 Business Development & Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture relationships with key institutional buyers, wholesalers, retailers, and other potential clients.
Identify new business opportunities and ensure Shuddha Space’s presence is expanded across new regions and market segments.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, product excellence, and consistent sales growth.
Represent Shuddha Space at high-level meetings, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and drive new business partnerships.
📊 Sales Forecasting & Reporting
Create accurate sales forecasts based on market trends, customer needs, and company goals.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, tracking the performance of the sales team and progress toward targets.
Analyze market trends and provide insights to the leadership team, suggesting improvements to sales strategies or operations.
🔄 Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
Continuously assess the sales processes and customer interactions, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure seamless coordination between sales, logistics, and accounts teams to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Drive the implementation of sales tools, systems, and best practices to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
📈 Market Insights & Competitor Analysis
Stay ahead of industry trends and analyze competitor activities to ensure Shuddha Space remains competitive and innovative.
Guide the sales team in crafting tailored sales pitches and adapting to customer needs in a rapidly evolving market.
💼 What We’re Looking For
Leadership Experience: 5–7 years in sales/business development, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role, ideally in FMCG or similar industries.
Proven Track Record: History of exceeding sales targets and driving team success, with strong team and performance management skills.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to devise and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, build new business, and maintain relationships.
Strong Relationship Builder: Skilled in managing and growing relationships with institutional buyers, wholesalers, and key accounts.
Coaching & Mentorship: Experience mentoring a sales team and helping people grow professionally.
Analytical & Data-Driven: Comfortable analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback for strategic improvement.
Effective Communicator: Clear and confident communicator with stakeholders across all levels.
